Primary objectives for students is to read with fluency, comprehend the material thoroughly, clarify any misunderstandings, use accurate pronunciations, engage in discussions and written reflections on their reading. 

I have extensive experience differentiating lessons, am skilled in Science-based Reading and Creative Writing programs, as well as trained in explicit phonics instruction.

Nurturing and personalized coaching for adolescents and teens is essential today. Guiding students to recognize their unique strengths and encouraging self-development is a gift with significant responsibility. I take this learning path, for your child, very seriously. I focus on improving executive functioning, empowerment, and life skills for each student using the Meta Learning DeStress method.

At Pink and Blue Place, learning and coaching is individualized, customized, and tailored to the whole student. Students are involved in creating their action plan which fosters self-worth and the ability to thrive. Additionally, a collaborative approach to learning accommodates diverse learning styles and addresses individual challenges.  A student’s mind is open to learning when they are feeling whole emotionally, physically, or mentally. 

Moving beyond traditional teaching and tutoring encourages optimal learning for my students. With consistency, this approach has resulted in significant improvements for my students, ranging from 30% to 190%.
